In this section, you will see three writing samples from my EAP classes, PROV classes and major courses,which can present my academic writing skills.

PROV 501-P04: A mid-term research paper related to Plagiarism. The first paragraph is talking about the background and the definition of plagiarism. Then, in the next part, i point why it is important to avoid plagiarism and the difference between China and western countries. In the third paragraph, i focus on how to avoid plagiarism using some format citation. In the last paragraph, i make a conclusion that “If we try our best together, we can easily have a better academic environment, which is benefit with us all.”

EAP 507-P03: A final poster that shows the findings in my research in Fall 2016. This poster focus on the components of NBA’s expanding in China and how could NBA’s expanding in China affect the development of Chinese basketball. This poster includes Introduction part, Driving Questions part, the components of NBA’s expanding in China, the effects of NBA’s expanding in China to CBA’s development and Discussion part. by using some data and pictures in the poster, this poster shows my findings of my research. In the discussion part, i point that “future research should focus on the link between NBA’s expanding in China and the development of Chinese basketball.”

SPMT 614-P01: A final paper that analyze some specific case, showing my understanding of Sport Law.  This case analyze is the usage of Equal Protection Clause and Title IX. By refering to other cases that professor mentioned in class, i analyze this case with my own opinion. In the first part, i answer some short questions with Equal Protection Clause and Title IX.Next, my analysis focus on whether Eliminating some women’s programs but no men’s programs because men’s programs can generate more revenue than women’s programs is a violation of Title IX or not. In the last part, my analysis focus on the athletic discrimination based on gender.
